2012 Honda CR-Z Hybrid

However, the 2012 Honda CR-Z Hybrid successfully combines the green technology of a hybrid to the performance of a sporty coupe that has a acceptable fuel consumption and a good road handling that might be useful in traffic. Sure it has all this features, but doesn’t have the performance of a true sport car or the economic mpg of a normal hybrid. It can do all, but maybe not enough. But all we can do now is wait for the vehicle to appear so we can try it. In already happened in the past that the bad press reviewing of a car zero mattered on the market. We don’t know yet pretty much about the Type R high class hybrid CR-Z but we can only expect for the best.
The Honda Integrated Motor Assist technology allows the two engines, petrol and electric, to have more acceleration and power. The basic CR-Z comes with a manual 6 speed gearbox that is pretty sharp in behavior and gives some thrilling sporty sensations due to the aluminum pedals and flawless clutch. Among the optional there is a 6 speed automatic gearbox too. As for driving options, you can select Econo, Normal and Sport. The handling is pretty good and the car is stable enough in long turns although the power steering and the stability control features makes impossible to feel again the kart-like sensation of an old CRX.
